Whats New? ATA Weekly Top 3

  1. Tik Tok is finally being sold to Who? Per the deal, enterprise technology company Oracle, investment firm Silver Lake, and the Abu Dhabi-based MGX wealth fund would be lead investors in TikTok U.S., holding a combined 45% stake. ByteDance would still hold around 20% of a stake in the company, and ByteDance’s investors would retain the remaining 35%.

  2. The NYT puts the Mini Cross-word behind it’s paywall… On Tuesday, Aug. 26, instead of their daily crossword, players were met with a paywall, meaning they had to pay for a subscription to play the game. The New York Times' games subscription package costs $6 per month, or $50 per year.

  3. Open AI looks to build AI Ad Infrastructure: A recent job listing shows the company is hiring a Growth Paid Marketing Platform Engineer to develop internal tools for ad platform integration, campaign management, and real-time attribution.
